Zentangle table

In 2019, I collaborated with a local board game store called FairGame with a community project in LaGrange, IL.

Small local businesses were each tasked with painting a chess table, which would then be auctioned off to the greater community after being displayed in the downtown shop area for a few weeks in the summer.

FairGame wanted to create something that their customers and community could contribute to, and we came up with using Zentangle-inspired patterns as a way to start everything, then have local families and gamers color it in!

I contributed by designing the black line-work across the entire table, using board game objects as the main inspiration!
